Teaching Philosophy

Teaching voice, should be about guiding the singer in their own individual expression and creativity, efficiency of the vocal use, and finding the inherent beauty of their voice. To do this, a voice teacher should be versed in the mechanical process of the voice and find ways to be an empathetic communicator. These concepts help to not only foster independent musicians, but also a more dynamic and confident performer. As a teacher, I aim to prepare and guide my students through their vocal journey to learn their instrument as thoroughly as possible.
